Well tonight was a pretty crappy night and a waste of time really.
At about 10pm I thought I was heading to bed but ended up final tabling the €3.30 on DTD for 3rd. However, that's obviously not as great as it sounds - cashing for €140 ish. That only ensured, along with a cash in the Daily $30k on Stars, a profit of $25 for the night lol.
One tabling and participating in the dullest, softest tournament in the history of poker didn't exactly excite me much. Would have been nice to bink it for €300 but 77 ran into JJ and the rest, as they say, is history.
Some might be thinking "why play the €3.30?". After that I question my logic also but fundamentally its cos there are so few options on DTD/BOSS. They are more of a time filler really, still, nice to win on DTD - it had been a while!
I'm going to have to start an earlier session or not play at all tomorrow, unfortunately. I've had a very unproductive week in certain aspects of life, spending the majority of time applying for summer internships and post-grad jobs, as opposed to actually doing the work to enable me to graduate. So, its an early rise tomorrow and Sunday!
Definitely going to try and get in a session tomorrow though but if not, I'll just do my review post and that will be it for a bit.

A bit of heat to start off the new year

jamie i just played alea cash game. i lost 40 on roulette but had 80 left in wallet. sat at 50c/$1. win a couple of nice hands (get up to 150) then limp 68o on button in family pot. flop 972, CO leads i call (trying to look really drunk), turn T. he leads, i raise to a really drunken amount and put it in like a tool, he insta shoves and i call. he has 99. river K. up to 350. then i straddle to £2 and whole table calls so i make it £15 with Q2o from UTG straddle. one guy calls. i check call a J64 flop trying to represent a huge set. turn 2. i check, he bets 40. i make it 100. he shoves. i fold. i actually bluffed off 100 pound, and folded. i put in ONE HUNDRED POUND ON A FUCKING bLUFF AND FOLDED MY CARDS ABOUT 5 SECONDS LATER. brutal. anyway the whole table thinks i am a fish and i am back down to 100. i win a few more small pots, eg 344 board i have 48 and beat some1s 99 or something, duno. anyway people are laughing at how drunk i am, but seriously andy is texting me saying JON SERIOUSLY YOU ARE RINSING THESE. then i straddle to 2 again and get one caller MP, and one caller SB....SB is active, and raised AA big preflop earlier. i am straddler with TT and make it £22....idiot old guy calls from MP and then active SB shoves £190 or something ridiculous. i literally have a huge decision and tank for ages. then i make the best call of my life with TT and board runs out KJxxx and he says 'ace high' and flips AQ. so sick. up to £340 or something. i donate £36 on AKQTT board with KQ when i got counterfeited by his A8. but yeh, cashed out 306. when i stood up they all got up with me saying, time to leave. haha. they thought i was the fish. seriously softest game ever. then i spoke 2 one guy and i was like. u a 2p2er? he was like WTF U A 2p2er? and i explained my thought process behind hands and we had a chat and it was funny coz he realised i wasnt actually a dbag. haha. i will play that cash game every day of my life if i could. its LAUGHABLE bad,
